Terms

Terms of service.

The fair-deal version — written for humans.

The agreement

By signing up for HostPilot you agree to these terms. They describe what we do, what you do, and what happens when things go sideways. We'll keep this short.

What HostPilot does

HostPilot is software that helps you run your short-term rental business: an inbox that drafts guest replies with AI, a calendar that syncs your Airbnb / VRBO / Booking.com bookings, scheduled messages, dynamic pricing suggestions, and automatic guest reviews.

We're a tool. You remain the host — every reply, review, and price change goes out under your account, after you (or the automation rules you configured) approve it.

Subscriptions & billing

  • 14-day free trial for new accounts. No credit card required to start.
  • Plans renew automatically until you cancel.
  • Cancel any time from Settings → Billing — access continues to the end of the period you've already paid for.
  • We don't issue prorated refunds for partial periods unless required by your local consumer law.
  • Stripe processes every payment. We never store your card details.

Acceptable use

You agree to operate in compliance with the rules of every platform you connect (Airbnb, VRBO, Booking.com, your local short-term rental regulations) and applicable consumer-protection and tax law in your jurisdiction.

Don't use HostPilot to send spam, harass guests, evade platform policies, scrape competitor data at scale, or do anything illegal. We may suspend accounts that abuse the service or put us at risk.

AI assistance — review before you send

AI replies, generated reviews, and pricing suggestions are best-effort assistance. They are based on the data you provide and the conversation context. They can occasionally be wrong, outdated, or missing nuance.

Always review AI-generated content before sending it to a guest or applying it to your listing. You are responsible for what gets sent under your account.

Service availability

We aim for 99.9% uptime, but we don't guarantee it. If we have a major incident affecting paid customers, we'll issue service credits.

Features may change as we improve the product. We'll notify you about anything that materially affects how you use HostPilot.

Termination

You can delete your account at any time from Settings. We can suspend or close accounts that violate these terms — usually after a heads-up email and a chance to fix things.

On termination we delete your data within 30 days (backups within 60), per our Privacy policy.

Liability — the boring bit

HostPilot is provided "as is". To the maximum extent allowed by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for total damages exceeding what you paid us in the previous 12 months. None of this limits rights you have under applicable consumer-protection law.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms occasionally. If a change is material, we'll email you at least 14 days before it takes effect. If you don't agree, you can cancel before the new terms apply.
